"The morbid morgue"

Films: The Boneyard (1991)

Alias: The Kyoshi, Flooshums the poodle, Mrs. Poopinplatz

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: Ranges from that of average children to twice that of an average human (Flooshums).

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: The morgue isn't always the most appealing place. Okay, we correct ourselves. It's NEVER the most appealing place. But it's especially awful when your bodies comprise mainly of little demons.

History: At first, Chen's mortuary appears to be a second-rate place for the dead to remain forever. But as it turns out, Chen's been feeding dead bodies to Kyoshi, undead children doomed to remain as demonic monsters for all eternity. Now that Chen's been carted off, the Kyoshi are growing impatient, and now have the visitors trapped and ready for either the taking or the possessing and malforming.

Notable Kills: Nothing special

Final Fate: Eventually, after the now-monstrified Floosums rampages a bit, he accidentally causes there to be a gas leak. He’s then tricked into fetching a lit stick of dynamite, blowing him and the demons up.

Powers/Abilities: Possession and malformation.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-The Kyoshi are in a HORRIBLE state of decay by the time we see them. Just looking at these zombified children is nauseating. That poodle is a little goofy, but nonetheless ferocious.

Trivia: -The first part of this film that was shot was a wedding scene meant for the end. It never made the cut.

-There are no demons in Chinese folklore known as Kyoshi. That would refer to a form of Japanese poetry that uses Chinese characters.
